Chief of Defence Force General David Hurley has communicated a message of concern and regret to victims of alleged abuse in the services during a video message coinciding with the public release of the executive summary of the DLA Piper review into abuse within the ADF.
The pursuit of equality is fundamental to the American story, Defense Secretary Leon E. Panetta said in a video message to thank US gay and lesbian service members for their service.
The unredacted executive summary of the DLA Piper report into allegations of sexual and other abuse in Defence was released yesterday under Freedom of Information processes.
