The Australian Defence Force announced today that soldiers, sailors and airmen will march in uniform at the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras in 2013, an announcement strongly welcomed and supported by DEFGLIS.
Air Force recently released a guide for lesbian, gay and bisexual service men and women and a commander's guide as part of a series of guides aimed at promoting workplace diversity and inclusion. A guide to gender transition in the workplace is also due to be released shortly.

Human Immunodeficiency Virus is transmissible through bodily fluids such as blood. With time, HIV causes Acquired Immunodeficiency Disease, which is not communicable. HIV positive individuals need special health care and support from their community to live free from discrimination.
