Chief of Army, Lieutenant General David Morrison, AO in a video to his troops says he "will be ruthless in ridding the Army of don't live up to its values."

The video follows allegations of unacceptable behaviour following the announcement on Thursday, 13 June 2013 of civilian police and Defence investigations into allegations of unacceptable behaviour by Army members.

"Those who think it is okay to behave in a way that demeans or exploits their colleagues have no place in this Army."

"No one has ever explained how the exploitation or degradation of others enhances capability, or honours the traditions of the Australian Army."

"The Army has to be an inclusive organisation, where every soldier, man and women can reach their full potential, and is encouraged to do so."

"If you're not up to it, find something else to do with your life. There is no place for you amongst this band of brothers and sisters."
